Saturday’s In Syracuse: Harmonious Hearts

For this week’s edition of Saturday’s In Syracuse, we’re reviewing a small business called Harmonious Hearts. Harmonious Hearts is a holistic business that specializes in energy work of multiple varieties. Danielle Wilk, the owner of HH, is incredibly intuitive. She does tarot card readings, reiki, sacred circles, and has courses and videos available for you to do work on your own. I went to visit Danielle for a reiki session. Her office is incredibly welcoming with a massage table in the center, a cozy table for two off to the side and various decorations that support the energetic feeling of the place. For those unaware of what reiki is, it’s based on the eastern medicine approach that energy in your body is vital for healing and you may be expericing energetic blockages that are creating problems in your life (be it physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually).

The session started with Danielle asking some general questions about if there was anything I wanted to focus on. Once I was comfortable on the table, she placed a few crystals on my body, started some quiet music and then got to work. Danielle places her hands on different parts of your body (I believe she was specifically putting them where my chakras are located) and you can feel the heat radiating from her hands. I didn’t fall asleep during my session as I was fully aware of everything that was happening but I did go into a sort of trance state. Danielle spoke to me throughout the session of things that were coming to her as well as what she could feel in my body.

I left the session with a bit of a headache, which Danielle told me was normal and that I needed to make sure I drank plenty of water. The session cost $100 (plus tip because we always tip service people) and was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the services that Danielle offers and how helpful they’ve been. For anyone who is looking to move forward on their healing journey or delve deeper into spirituality, I highly recommend giving Harmonious Hearts a visit. Danielle also offers zoom sessions for those that are quarentined, isolated or don’t live in the area.
