Product Choice: Mop

For those of you who already have a mop you love, I would totally suggest the mop that we use but it looks like it’s all washed up. 

Okay, bad pun part of the post is over. 

I fan girl hard for the mop that we use. I first found out about this mop because it was all over on Tik Tok. I tried a few different knock off versions before finally getting the real one. I can say with absolute certainty that the real one is worth the extra money. It’s amazing. I love this mop so much and love teaching each and every new hire that we bring on how to use the spin mop. 

I like the spin mop for a variety of reasons. The stick portion of the mop can be screwed in to make it very compact for easy travel. The head is easy to change on and off so our cleaners carry three mop heads per clean, one that is used for floors, ones for walls and ones for anything else that might be cleaned by the spin mop. The spin mop saves a ton of effort for cleaning, especially when it comes to cleaning walls. The time needed to clean an entire room versus if we were using a bucket and rags by hand is basically cut down to a quarter of how long it would take. 

The #1 reason that I love the spin mop over a traditional mop, though, is because it truly cleans better. It uses the perfect amount of water because you dip the mop in your cleaning solution and then wring it out in the spinner using the pedal with your foot (hence the name) so it’s not sopping wet and getting water everywhere. It allows for a larger swivel than a traditional mop which makes cleaning baseboards, corners etc. a breeze.
