Saturday’s In Syracuse: Spaghetti Warehouse

Here at SCS, we LOVE everything having to do with Syracuse.  This is the second post of a series called Saturday’s In Syracuse where we will post our review of a local small business in the Syracuse area. If you would like for your small business to be reviewed, please send us an email.

Spaghetti Warehouse is a family-friendly italian restaurant in the heart of Syracuse, NY. Located at 689 N. Clinton, Spaghetti Warehouse is well known for it’s life-sized trolley in the middle of the main dining room that you can be seated on. In addition to walk-in seating and reservations, Spaghetti Warehouse has a banquet hall to host large parties.

While the Spaghetti Warehouse building was easy to find, it seemed a bit confusing at first because you arrive to your destination and then drive down a hill to their main parking lot. It is right next to Play The Game, Read The Story. Upon entering the building, you’re greeted by antique decor including an old-fashioned fortune teller machine and an antique confessional. All of the decorations were antiques and my son was absolutely amazed by many of them.

We were seated on the large trolley in the main dining room. As we were greeted by our server, he delivered delicious sourdough bread and garlic butter which he kept replenished throughout the meal. We placed our orders for food and then went to go play on the arcade games that were in the lobby.

My son ordered chicken nuggies, his go-to basically anywhere we go. I ordered their eggplant parm with italian wedding soup as my starter.  Between the bread and the soup, I was full by the time my steaming hot plate of parm and pasta was delivered but I ate almost half of my plate anyway because it was so delicious. My son loved his food as well. We passed on dessert because we were too full.

I checked out their FaceBook page to write this review (they don’t have a website) and found that they have events including a really fun looking Murder Mystery dinner theatre, a Polar Express during December featuring the conductor and Santa Claus, a gathering for NYE and Dinner & A Movie nights. Kids get free pasta on Monday’s with the purchase of an adult entree so if you’re thinking of bringing your kids, might as well go on a Monday!!
